Viewpoint Vista - BambooHR

The goal of the integration between BambooHR and Viewpoint Vista is centered around streamlining the flow of employee data, including payroll information, between Viewpoint Vista and BambooHR.

Candidates in a “hired” status in BambooHR, will record a new employee in Viewpoint Vista, including demographic and work history data

Employee data such as personal, contact, employment, and job information will be sourced from BambooHR and sync-ed into Vista’s PR Employees module. The basic set of flows are: create, update, terminate and rehire employees.

Paystubs from Vista can be populated into BambooHR’s Pay Info tab through the integration. BambooHR has a limited set of fields available to absorb this data and are broadly limited to payer/payee information, wages, taxes, deductions, and bank details.

Documents from BambooHR can be moved to Vista’s VP Attachments database and linked up to both the Payroll and HR modules. Among the HR modules, adding documents to HR Resource Master, Benefits, Dependents, Skills, and Training is supported.

This data runner will send approved time-off requests from BambooHR to Vista via the PR Leave Entry Batch process. These batches will need to be processed during the payroll cycle in order to reflect the available leave balances for employees.

This data runner will retrieve leave balances available in Vista’s PR Employee Leaves and update the time off balances in BambooHR to ensure both the systems are trued up. Please note that Vista will be the source of truth for leave balances unless indicated otherwise.

Viewpoint Spectrum - BambooHR

Employee data such as personal, contact, employment, direct deposit, and job information will be sourced from BambooHR and sync-ed into Spectrum’s PR Employees module. The basic set of flows are; create, update, terminate and rehire employees.

Paystubs from Spectrum can be populated into BambooHR’s Pay Info tab through the integration. BambooHR has a limited set of fields available to absorb this data and are broadly limited to payer/payee information, wages, taxes, deductions, and bank details.

As an alternative, PDF paystubs can be moved from an FTP site to BambooHR’s Documents tab, provided each PDF file is for one employee only and the filename has their employee number to connect the PDF file to the right employee record in BambooHR.
